PROFILE - DENISE KEELE-BEDFORD
In 2013 Denise celebrated 10 Years of Art Making in China. Her monograph publication was launched at her solo show Bloom of Youth in Beijing at Imagine Gallery on September 22nd. Denise creates artwork in a variety of media that enhance and harmonize with her conceptual expressions. Photography and installation art form a major part of her art making.
Denise's qualifications include Dip. of Arts, B.A. Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts.
She has traveled internationally and her travels have further stimulated her interest in the diversity of people, cultures and environments. These intrigues have been reflected in her artwork and continue to influence her investigations regarding spirituality within personal and cultural belief systems. Subjects of particular significance include places of worship, calligraphic texts and environmental spirituality including sacred sites.

She actively engages in many community activities whilst producing works for solo exhibitions and participates in many group, invitation and thematic exhibitions.
Her artwork and videos are represented in corporate, private and club collections in Australia, China, England, New Zealand, U.S.A. and Sweden.
